Q: Can we make armor / gauntlets?

A: While this is probably possible, it takes a significant amount of skill and time to make.

Q: Can we make swords?

A: We are making knives, the smaller version of a sword. This is to prep for a knife making competition in Fall 2020.

Q: Can I bring my own metal?

A: Yes, but it is not necessary because UConn quite literally has tons of it

Q: What metals can we cast?

A: We will be casting Aluminum. The foundry is equipped for melting steel but chances are we will not be since it takes a large amount of preparation.
